A monster as slimy and rotten as the bog he inhabits. Creeves moves great distances to find human settlements, where it preys on the gullible. Resembling a large ice cream cone, Creeves’s head can fluoresce bright colors, which it uses to goad children into licking it. Pedophilliatic as this sounds, the actual reasons for it are worse and more appropriate at the same time. Creeves true head is much smaller than it appears, and is caked with a thick, sludgy, very toxic layer of bioluminescent secretion that resembles the outer ice cream. If even a small amount of this is ingested, it can cause fatal organ shutdown in seconds. Creeves will then drag the resulting poisoned corpses back to its swampy home, slough off its poisoned outer coating, and eat its prey with its true face, which is said to superficially resemble a goose barnacle.

Because of its method of predation, Creeves has learned to mimic human voices and certain sounds, though he does not understand exactly what they mean. He frequently visits places "when the adults are gone", since they are smart enough to realize he resembles ice cream but also smart enough to be suspicious. He will then mimic human speech, usually something along the lines of "Have a sample", "Get your free ice cream" or sounds of an ice cream truck. He may also say nothing, only needing to stare and wait. In rarer cases he visits specific houses, all for the same result. 

Fortunately, Creeves does not force-feed parts of himself to those who refuse, which makes him effectively a mobile pitcher plant. Ignoring or actively refusing Creeves's offers will cause him to do nothing more than stare at you wordlessly, then move away.
